Chapel Road Recreation Ground Benches

Local residents have been asking where have the benches have gone at Chapel Road Rec?

Great news - Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council recently voted to remove the dilapidated benches and to replace them with four new ones once proper bases for them have been installed. Watch this space.

Remembrance Day Preparations

Remembrance Day Preparations

With Remembrance Sunday almost upon us, Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council are well ahead with preparations at the War Memorial Gardens. The Memorial and paths around it have been professionally cleaned and are really looking great. The mounted illuminated poppy has been installed on one of the lamp posts outside the garden.

Every Friday from 10.00 am to 12.30, the Parish Council in association with the Knit and Natter Group are offering a free warm space at the Hub.

The first session is on 14 October.

Come along for company and a chat, tea and biscuits and a warm!

It is with immense sadness that Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council announce the death of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II, peacefully at Balmoral on 8 September 2022.
