Death of HRH Queen Elizabeth II

It is with immense sadness that Steeton-with-Eastburn Parish Council announce the death of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II, peacefully at Balmoral on 8 September 2022.

A formal, public proclamation of Her Royal Highness' death will be made at the Cenotaph, Memorial Gardens, Skipton Rd, Steeton, on Sunday 11 September 2022 at 3pm, by a Deputy Lieutenant for West Yorkshire. This will be followed by the declaration of accession of His Royal Highness, King Charles III to the throne.
